Birds in flight leave invisible paths and memories in the sky. The birds leave in drifts, and mysteriously return. Maybe there was a time we shared their knowledge.

Top drawer: Dice, antique pipe cleaner, compass dial, old pin, arrowhead-- the unrelated detritus in a "junk drawer" that reveals an unknowable personal story.
Bottom drawer: Fish hooks, vial of rice, broken mirror.
